This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through https://heartlandpavingpartners.com (the "Site"), how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
When you request a quote, fill out a contact form, schedule service, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect:

- Device and browser information (IP address, browser type, operating system)
- Usage data (pages viewed, links clicked, time on site, referring website)
- Information collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 3)
Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from advertising or lead-referral services, business partners, or publicly available sources, which we may combine with information we already have.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide estimates and quotes
- Schedule, perform, and follow up on paving, asphalt, concrete, and related services
- Process payments and maintain records of our work
- Communicate with you about your project, appointments, and account
- Send marketing or promotional messages where permitted (you can opt out — see Section 10)
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services
- Detect and prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations
3. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (including pixels and tags) to keep the Site functioning, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and measure and improve the performance of our advertising.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and how you interact with the Site, and uses cookies to do so.
Advertising
We work with the following platforms to deliver, measure, and optimize our advertising, including showing you ads for our services on other websites and apps you visit (sometimes called "retargeting" or "remarketing"):
- Google Ads (including the Google conversion and remarketing tags)
- Meta Ads (the Meta Pixel, used to deliver ads across Facebook and Instagram)
- Microsoft Advertising / Bing Ads (the Microsoft UET tag)
These platforms use cookies and pixels to collect information about your visit and your interactions with our ads, and they may combine that information with data they already hold about you. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You can manage or limit this activity through:
- Your browser settings (blocking or deleting cookies — note that disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works)
- The Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Google Ads settings at https://adssettings.google.com
- Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share it in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors who perform services on our behalf — such as website hosting, analytics, payment processing, scheduling, customer communication, and marketing — and who are authorized to use your information only as needed to provide those services.
- Advertising and analytics partners. Platforms such as Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta, and Microsoft Advertising, which receive Site usage and interaction data through cookies and pixels to help us measure and deliver our advertising (see Section 3). Note that some state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough to include this type of data sharing for targeted advertising; you can opt out using the methods described in Section 3 and Section 8.
- Subcontractors and partners. Trusted contractors or affiliated companies involved in completing your project.
- Legal and safety reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Heartland Paving Partners, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
- With your consent. When you direct us to share your information.
5. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate or control. This policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business and project records, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
We will retain the following records for these periods:
- quote/contact inquiries retained for three years or as needed for business purposes;
- project records retained for warranty, tax, or legal purposes;
- marketing records retained until opt-out plus suppression-list retention.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Indiana residents have these rights under the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act, and residents of other states may have similar rights under their state laws. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
If we deny your privacy rights request, you may appeal our decision by contacting us using the same method you used to submit your request and including "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to appeals within the time required by applicable law.
